Here's a bunch of asphalt and pylons. I dropped out of scouts, but I'm pretty sure it's a sign pointing in the direction of the truck, so they don't forget where they parked it. (West approach)

There's a sign that they're almost done their work--a compactor to compact the gravel. Clearly, the final paving can't be too far away! (West approach)
